Alex Welsh (b.1986) is a photographer based in Brooklyn, NY.  Graduated from San Francisco State University in 2009, his work is primarily explores issues surrounding urban inequality.  He received a grant from the Magnum Foundation Emergency Fund for his project Home Of The Brave and was one of the emerging photographers selected to attend LOOKbetween.
